For times when you don't have access to the internet, here's something to remember.

Text the word OIL to 81066 to receive some quotes for 500 litres of oil as taken from a recent survey.

This text message is charged at 50p plus standard network charges. It is NOT a subscription service. Please ask the bill payers permission.

The quotes listed are prices listed online only of 500 litres of "28 Sec Kerosene Home Heating Oil" inc. VAT and Standard delivery. They may or may not include credit card surcharges and/or promotional offers and are quotes from suppliers that deliver within Northern Ireland.

Quotes may be for specific locations only. They can be used as a guideline before you contact your supplier.

This is not a subscription service. We will only respond with one text message which will be limited to 160 characters. We will try to fit as many quotes and as much information into this single text as we can. However it does mean that the number of quotes provided will be limited and will vary.

Under the current format, the average price from a recent survey will be displayed at the end of each text message. Note that this is the average price from the survey that had been carried out and not from the quotes listed. The date, time of the survey and the number of litres will be displayed at the top of the text message.

Where two suppliers have the same price, a comma (",") will be used rather than repeat the same price twice (for example "Supplier1,Supper2£300.00").

The format of the message may change without prior notice though we will endeavour to provide information as to the format of the text messages on this page.

We reserve the right to change the method or logic used to determine which suppliers or prices are chosen.
